DNI'S Office Holders & Dignitaries Declaration 2020

 Dear Hon'ble Members, 

Let us rejoice with few names of the office holders of DNI that are being declared during Covid19 because the meetings are impossible due to unprecedented situation being arisen out of lockdown and hence the following persons are entrusted with roles and responsibilities of the organisation to carry out some functions as below:-

ABOUT DNI INDIA !

Part II C Membership of DNI

Member is a basic unit of any organization and therefore member is thought to be very cornerstone of DNI. Further the vision, mission, integrity and dedication of a member determines the strength and longevity of any institution. Members of DNI shall only belong to the depressed classes.

Article 11.Members of DNI are to be drawn from the diverse fields of social works, legal background, journalism, technical, health services, public administration, economic affairs and such other walks of life. These members shall constitute the NGC. The members of administrative, policy making and executive functions shall be the part of Planning Committee (PC), Central Advisory Board (CAB) and Central executive Committee (CEC). The members of NGC shall be drawn based on direct selection at national level belonging to different fields of experience. 50 % strength of NGC will be drawn from each RC with proportional representation system and rest from direct selection method. New membership to NGC shall be considered from the first week of March months of every New Year.

Article 12. Members of every regional council shall be selected from that region they belong to. RCs shall have 50 % members drawn with direct selection and rest 50% shall be recommended by DCs in that region with PRS. Members are expected to be coming from the diverse walk of life with sufficient educational or other work experience like public governance. Every executive/ functionary shall be the part of RC. Members shall be selected or recommended with PRS as per their demographic presence in the society in every council in order to protect the interests of their communities/ social groups.

Article 13. Members to DCs shall be drawn from that district they belong to. They shall be selected with diverse field of experience so that council can be made dynamic and vibrant. 50 % members of each DC shall be directly selected and rest 50% shall be recommended by BCs of that district with PR system from different social backgrounds in the depressed classes. Since DC is the nodal agency of DNI to execute and monitor the various programmes, so members are expected to visionary, missionary and honest.

Article 14. Members to Block Councils (BCs) shall be drawn from diverse walk of life in their experience. 50% members of BC shall be directly selected and rest 50% recommended by respective VCs of that block with PRS. New membership is only to be considered in the month of March of a year.

Article 15.Since VCs are the basic units of DNI, so all members shall be directly filled by appointed Village Secretary/ executive of DNI for that VC. Members are expected to come from diverse walk of life. Members are to be selected as per their demographic presence in that VC according to PRS. Members of a committee are to be drawn from only that VC to execute and monitor the programmes.

Note: Any member at any council willing to transfer his/her membership may do at his/ her wishes to anyone of his/her family or kinsperson prior to leaving his/her membership from DNI.
