DNI'S Office Holders & Dignitaries Declaration 2020

 Dear Hon'ble Members, 

Let us rejoice with few names of the office holders of DNI that are being declared during Covid19 because the meetings are impossible due to unprecedented situation being arisen out of lockdown and hence the following persons are entrusted with roles and responsibilities of the organisation to carry out some functions as below:-

Part VI Local Administrations

Article 41.Provides for District Councils (DCs) for local self governance. DCs will be the nodal forum to execute and monitor the programmes set by the DNI. Each DC comprises 100 members in which 50 % will be directly selected by the District Coordinator/ secretary and rest 50% to be recommended by the BCs of that district with PRS. There shall be a District Coordinator/ Secretary who acts as the nodal executive of that DC. There is a provision of appointing a District Programme Officer (DPO) and his/ her duties shall be to execute and monitor the programmes run by the DC on the direction of CEC.

Article 42. There shall be Block Councils in every district council. Every BC shall have its coordinator/ secretary for coordination, execution and monitoring of programmes on block level. There shall be 100 members in each BC and 50% of members of BC will be directly selected by the coordinator and rest 50 % to be filled on the recommendation of VCs. There is a provision of a Programme officer of every block council in order to execute and monitor the programmes of that block council. He will be appointed by the DPO.

Article 43. Provides for Village Councils across the country in rural areas and Ward councils in urban areas. There shall be 50 members in every VC to be directly appointed by the village coordinator/ secretary. There shall be an Assistant Programme officer for each VC to execute and monitor the programmes run by the DNI. He will be appointed by the DPO.

Article 44. Provides for salary and allowances to DC and DPO as per rules by NGC..

Article 45.Provides for salary and allowances to BC, VC, PO and APO as per rules by NGC.
